DUDE, so much to talk about - let's break this shit up into 4 parts:

I. your sick CD
II. my recent trip to Yale
III. christmas break
IV. Miscellaneous

I. ok, your cd is fucking great, i've been listening to it constantly. here's the best way i can describe the evolution its underwent in my mind - the songs i loved right away (they tend to be harder) - songs 3,5,9,11,12. i don't know if the beginning of "battleship" is some inside joke, but I crack up everytime i hear "E-11... OH!" also, the end of "have you been listening" gives me chills.

the songs that took a couple listenings to, but now i love them - 2, 6, 7,10. i think "bonesaw" and "rise the sun" are my two current favorites on the album. and the songs that i can't believe i'm addicted to (these are the slower ones): 1, 4, 13. 40% chance is especially fucking amazing in my opinion. i'll tell ya, i throw on 40% chance and rasful heights every time I light one up. and by "light one up" i mean "turn on the kitchen light and make myself a sandwich."
