These are some slayin' shots from the two studios we recorded at last weekend. The pictures with the wooden background are taken at The Panhandle House Studio in Denton where we booked a 6 hour day (that turned out to be a 12 hour day) and threw down 12 tracks. That's our man Eric setting up Hoag's bassdrum so it's just right. You can't see the 50lb sack he put in there to "add some heavy metal to the sound."
That's also our producer (and father of bassist Slampiece Tighthead) working the Pro Tools at Marshall Sound Design. Johnny is the MAN. His coaching during the Panhandle House session ("Standby. . . " ". . . are you guys alright?") and during the vocal sessions ("Stack!" "no rapping!") was and is crucial. At the way bottom you'll notice the most ex. meal cooked up by Bonesaw with an assist by Slammer. Whole grain pancakes, veggies and eggs, and a "special topping" with fruit and nuts. It's the Full Service way. . .
